iPhone experienced a 16% jump in sales enhanced by the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, but the iPad sales are experimenting a gradual decline (along with the tablet market).
Apple is facing an iPad slid for the third straight quarter, and sales were down a 13% in a year period.
On the other hand, Apple and IBM agreement may help the Cupertino company to push iPad sales thanks to the corporate market.
This may not be all bad news for Apple. Many iPad users are simply opting to stick with their iPhones for nighttime browsing. But Apple is, nonetheless, trying to revive the line with a lineup that includes new iPad minis and iPad Airs.
But Apple is still healthy thanks to the iPhone. The smartphone represents half of its business and sales are increasing. In fact, the iPhone marks Apple’s best product launch ever. Also, the Mac is growing and the new Apple Watch may be the next wearable best seller.
